This letter changed my day.
I didn't know how to start my new book,
and now, after reading this letter ... I DO.

Dear Linda,
I am not sure if you remember me, but I called about two weeks ago from Seattle for your guidance. During our session you had advised me to get your book, "Until We Meet Again, Dear John".
At first, I was hesitant to order it seeing as I had my written boards and did not want to be distracted. Yet as the days went by, I felt as if I needed to read your book the way that one needs to drink water. I ordered it used from Amazon (sorry for that!), and it arrived at my place with my name on the inside cover with a note from you dated 2011. Used, from some online book store, with my name spelled correctly and note from you dated 2011. I was shocked, confused, and in quiet disbelief.
Resigning myself to the fact that someone was trying to mess with me, I began to read your book on my breaks. I found myself up late at night, early in the morning, eating lunch mid-day reading your book. I just closed the back cover, overcome with emotion.
Linda, I do not know you. I was blindly drawn to you and since we spoke strange things have been happening to me. I am not writing this letter for any of those reasons yet simply prefacing what I am about to say because I feel it will seem odd otherwise.
I want to tell you that I am so sorry. I am sorry for the hurt you experienced. I am sorry that the lesson was so painful. I feel a type of grief I have not felt in quite sometime after experiencing your heart ache, almost as if it was somehow my own. I want to tell you that I might not know you, and I might sound crazy, but I am so proud of you. I admire your strength and your perseverance. I admire your outlook and your openness to growth. I admire your courage and the love that lives inside of you.
I feel as if something drew me to find you. I do not know what it means. The scientist in me is struggling to understand, but I sense that things are unfolding in my life in a very peculiar way. Anyhow, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story.
Sincerely,
Sara
